MEETING WITH NEBRASKA PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT FACILITY: Cooper Nuclear Station DOCKET: 50-298 DATE AND TIME: July 13, 2005 12 noon - 3 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region IV Training Conference Room 611 Ryan Plaza Drive, Suite 400 Arlington, TX 76011-4005 PURPOSE: This is a meeting between NRC and Cooper Nuclear Station to discuss Nebraska Public Power District's denial of a noncited violation documented in NRC Inspection Report 2005002, dated April 29, 2005. This noncited violation resulted from the licensee's failure to implement their emergency plan implementing procedures during a fire in the multipurpose facility on March 14, 2005.

CATEGORY: This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
