State Emergency Planning Officials Mr. DiFrancesco, I have confirmed that the State of Illinois emergency planning officials have been notified in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, Notice for public comment; State consultation, paragraph b, of the April 2, 2010, Exelon Generation Company, LLC application to amend the Clinton Power Station, Unit 1 (CPS) facility operating license. This application was based on a proposed change to the CPS Radiological Emergency Plan that results in a decrease in effectiveness. EGC provided an electronic copy of the application to the designated State Official, and they have acknowledged receipt of the application.
