Dear Sir or Madam:

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.46(a)(3)(ii), Columbia Generating Station (Columbia) is required to report to the Commission, at least annually, the estimated effect on the limiting Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) analysis caused by changes to or errors discovered in acceptable ECCS evaluations for information.

Since the last 10 CFR 50.46 report provided to the NRC [Reference 1], Columbia loaded a new fuel type (GEl 4) and began using Global Nuclear Fuel's approved analytical methods to perform licensing calculations.

Columbia submitted a License Amendment Request (LAR) [Reference 2] to revise Technical Specification (TS) 5.6.3 to add a reference to a new analytical method to beused to determine core operating limits. The LAR was approved by the NRC in Reference

3. There have been no other changes or errors associated with the Columbia ECCS analysis since the last 1OCFR 50.46 report[Reference 1].14 Ot),ý_
