. NRC-006 Francis Akstulewicz Final Safety Evaluation Report for Combined Licenses for Turkey Point Units 6 and 7

1 In its response to Prehearing Question number 5, Staff states, "-sustained winds of 175

-185 mph documented during the Category 3 storms in 2005-." The response should say "-sustained winds of 175

-185 mph documented during the three Category 5 storms in 2005-" (emphasis added). Exhibit NRC

-005 has been updated to reflect this correction.

Further, Staff's response to Prehearing Question number 55 states that

"-the discussion of environmental impacts in the draft Record of Decision is referring to cumulative impacts

." This statement was made in error. Exhibit NRC

-005 has therefore been updated to read as follows:

"The discussion of environmental impacts in the draft Record of Decision on page 5 is referring to the potential impacts from constructing and operating the proposed Turkey Point Units 6 and 7. These construction and operational impacts, in the vicinity of the Turkey Point site, include the impacts as a result of preconstruction and NRC licensed activities."
