Title | Licensee-Identified Violation |
Description | Technical Specification Limiting Condition for Operation 3.4.3, Safety/Relief Valves, requires 10 safety/relief valves to be operable while in Mode 1 with their lift setpoints within a specified range. Contrary to this, during surveillance testing on safety/relief valves removed from Unit 2 during the Spring 2007 refueling outage (B218R1), four of the eleven valves actuated at pressures outside the technical specification limits. This finding is of very low safety significance because the as-found lift setpoint conditions of the Unit 2 safety/relief valves were analyzed and determined to meet the design basis criteria for an over-pressurization event. This issue has been entered into the CAP as AR 287535 |
