Cask User Registration
Dear Mr. Davis:
Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CPR 71.12(c)(3),
Kansas Gas and Electric Company (KG&E),
as a holder of Operating License NFP-42 for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS),
is hereby registering as a user of the radioactive materials shipping casks identified in the attachment to this letter.
The vendor, model number, package identification number and NRC Docket Number are identified for those casks KG&E requests to be registered for use at WCGS.
KG&E shall maintain specific certificate of compliance, drawings, operating and maintenance procedures on file as controlled documents for each identified transport cask. Identified transport casks will be used and USNRC operated under the approved WCGS 10 CPR 71 Quality Assurance Program, Docket No. 71-0598.
