DPR-42 and DPR-60 L-PI-14-030 Schedule for Response to Reactor Vessel Inspection Program Request for Additional Information (RAI) 2-1 for the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP) (TAC Nos. MF0052 and MF0053) By letter dated October 1, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML12276A041), Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), submitted an aging management program (AMP) for the reactor vessel internals (RVI) at PINGP, Units 1 and 2. Letters dated March 7, 2013 (ML13067A284), March 22, 2013 (ML13084A378) and October 8, 2013 (ML13284A081

), provided additional AMP information, including responses to all NRC RAis except for RAI 2-1. Pursuant to a teleconference with the NRC Staff on August 27, 2013, NSPM agreed to provide the response to RAI 2-1 at a later date when industry-wide resolution of the issues becomes available.

Pursuant to a teleconference with the NRC Staff on January 29, 2014, NSPM by this letter provides a written milestone schedule for the response to RAI 2-1. The vendor performing the material reviews for the response to RAI 2-1 will provide their deliverable to NSPM by September 30, 2014; NSPM will submit the response to RAI 2-1 to the NRC by October 24, 2014.
