UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 Mr. Thomas Joyce President and Chief Nuclear Officer PSEG Nuclear P.O. Box 236, N09 Hancocks Bridge, NJ 08038 December 11, 2014 SUBJECT: HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION-REVIEW OF THE CORE OPERATING LIMITS REPORT, RELOAD 18, CYCLE 19, REVISION 9 (TAC NO. MF3064) Dear Mr. Joyce: By letter dated November 4, 2013, as supplemented by letter dated October 22, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML 13308C238 and ML 14295A412, respectively), PSEG Nuclear, LLC submitted the Hope Creek Generating Station, Reload 18, Cycle 19, Revision 9, Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) in accordance with Technical Specification (TS) Section 6.9.1.9. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has completed its review of the report and concluded that the cycle-specific parameter limits were developed using NRC approved methodologies and that changes between the previous COLR and the COLR for Reload 18, Cycle 19, Revision 9, are conservative in nature and pose no safety concern. The NRC staff has determined that PSEG Nuclear, LLC has met the TS requirements. If you have any questions, please contact me at (301) 415-1603 or via e-mail at Carleen. Sanders-Parker@nrc.gov.
