IN RESEARCH AND TEST REACTORS This is to advise you that the Commission (with all agreeing) has approved the proposed rule for limiting the use of HEU in research test reactors, subject to the following:

1.

The proposed rule should be modified as indicated on the attached pages; and 2.

Items 4 and 5 of the attached memorandum of June 1, 1984 from S. Trubatch to D. Garner, et al should be addressed during'the public comment period.

The proposed rule should be revised as indicated and returned for nignature and publication in the Federal Register.
