NOTICE 0'F ISSUANCE OF DIRECTOR'S DECISION UNDER 10 CFR 2.206

(PEP) transmitted a request pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 for the suspension of Amendments Nos. 52. and 49 to rerack and compact the spent fuel pool at the Zion Sta-ion, Units I and 2. The PEP request was for a review bot d hearing to

After a review of the relevant inf:rmation, the Director has determined that the PEP concerns have been ade-qua s'y ::vered by review b:ard hearings and decisions and that there is no basis for suscending the Amendments. Accordingly, the request by PEP has been denied.

Copies of the Director's Decision are available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W. , Washington,'O. C. 20555, and at the Local Public Docudent Room for the Zion Stati n located at
