l Office of Administration U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 20555-0001

Dear Chief:

I strongly urge a full public hearing on the health and safety concerns raised by Randy Robarge and Edwin Dienethal relative to the Zion Nuclear Power station in Zion, Illinois.

1 I think it is very important for you to make every effort to ascertain the truth of the situation. I have reviewed a copy of the intervention materials filed with the NRC by Mr.

Dienethal and Mr. Robarge. These rnaterials raise serious and significant safety concerns which must be reviewed at a hearing. The proposed changes to Plant Zion's license, which will result in the loss of safety-related jobs and the loss of full-time radiation protection l

staffing, cannot be implemented until all of the concerns raised in these papers have been f

i fully and properly adjudicated.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Sincerely yours, CITY OF KENOSHA
