In Illinois Power Company's letter to Mr. Frank Jablonski, NRC Region III, (Ref. U-10024,.1606-L, dated January 17, 1983), Illinois Power agreed to notify Region III of those~10CFR Part 21 defects that affect Clinton Power Station and that were previously reported to the Commission by. vendors or contractors. In accordance with that agree-ment, the following information is submitted:
l                                                Basic Engineers Division of National Valve and Manufac-l                                                turing Company has notified the Clinton Power Station l                                                of a Potential 10CFR21 Defect in its sway strut and snubber pipe clamps which may cause them to slip circumferentially around the pipe when a compressive load less than the faulted rated load is applied at an angle of 5' to the centerline.
Illinois Power is conducting an evaluatiot; of the reported' condition at the Clinton Power Station and will assure.that adequate corrective action is taken.

Dear Mr.'Keppler:

In Illinois Power Company's letter to Mr. Frank Jablonski, NRC Region III, (Ref. U-10024,.1606-L, dated January 17, 1983), Illinois Power agreed to notify Region III of those~10CFR Part 21 defects that affect Clinton Power Station and that were previously reported to the Commission by. vendors or contractors. In accordance with that agree-ment, the following information is submitted:
