Dear Mrs. Lampert:

As requested by your May 3, 2010 Request for Information, I am enclosing a CD with the machine-readable MACCS2 input and output files for (f) the SAMA analysis originally presented in Appendix E of the Environmental Report (base andtwo sensitivity cases); (2) the revised analysis performed in response to an NRC request for additional information (base and two sensitivity cases); and (3) the MACCS2 Sensitivity Cases 2 and 3 that were presented in the WSMS Report, "Radiological Dispersion and Consequences Analysis Supporting Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Severe Accident Mitigation Analysis" (Rev. 1, May 2007), to consider the effects of changing wind direction and plume height. The enclosed CD contains a separate folder labeled for each of these three analyses.

We have also included on the CD an index to the files. With respect to the third item in your Request for Information, PNPS Calculation S&SA-170 Rev. 1, which was produced in Entergy's Initial Disclosures (Nov. 15, 2006) and may be found at Bates Nos. PILLR00024864-PILLROO025091, describes how the input data was derived. With respect to the last item in your Request for Information, the meteorological file used in the MACCS2, PNPS Calculation S&SA-170 Rev. 1 identified above explains how the meteorological data file was prepared.

The data file was prepared using the www.pillsburylaw.com 401982985v0 May 5, 2010 Page 2 archived hourly values (not 15-minute data) for wind speed, wind direction, and atmospheric stability which was collected per Regulatory Guide 1.23 Sincerely yours, A,,j David R.
