The Policy Statement has been developed in order to pro-vide you with the Commission's position regarding the quality assurance requirements, particularly the maintenance, preservation and documentation requirements for deferred plants, and to state how new regulatory staff posi-tions will be applied to deferred plants that are reactivated.
