Friday, September 07, 2012 6:03 PM Siarnacki, Anne; Docket, Hearing Close Indian Point After seeing what happened at the Japanese nuclear power plant and the continued impact to the communities and environment, I think the risk is too great for Indian Point to continue to operate. I live in Poughkeepsie, upriver from the plant. The winds often blow up from the south and if there was a severe accident, it is not improbable that they would carry the radioactive fallout to my home.
