Docket No. 50-255-LA-2 ASLBP No. 15-939-04-LA-BD01 June 16, 2015 NOTICE (Second Notice Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.309(j)) On November 12, 2014, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. filed a license amendment request ("LAR") for Palisades Nuclear Power Plant.

1 On March 9, 2015, Beyond Nuclear, Don't Waste Michigan, Michigan Safe Energy Future - Shoreline Chapter, and the Nuclear Energy Information Service (collectively "Petitioners") submitted a petition to intervene and request for a hearing to challenge the LAR.

2 Entergy and the NRC Staff filed answers opposing the petition, 3 and Petitioners filed a reply on April 10, 2015.

4 Petitioners' Reply in Support of Petition to Intervene on Entergy License Amendment Request for Approval of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix G Equivalent Margins Analysis (Apr. 10, 2015). The Board's decision granting or denying the petition to intervene and request for a hearing was originally due May 26, 2015.

5 The Board previously provided notice that it would issue a decision by June 15, 2015.

6 The Board continues to finalize its decision and hereby provides notice pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.309(j)(1) that it anticipates issuing a decision on the petition to intervene and request for a hearing on or before June 19, 2015. FOR THE ATOMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD
