TO PROVIDE AN OVERVIEW OF PLANNED MAJOR CONSTRUCTION UPGRADES TOTHE ZACHRY ENGINEERING CENTER AND DISPOSITION OF THE AGN 201MREACTORGentlemen:This letter is to inform the NRC staff of current activities and plans Texas A&M University intends toimplement to enhance the Zachry Engineering Center. Texas A&M University has decided to move forwardwith a significant expansion to the existing Zachry Engineering Center that will serve as a state-of-the artlearning center comprised of lecture halls, classrooms, offices and laboratories. Our Project Plan has severalmilestones associated with the design and construction of a significant addition to the Zachry EngineeringCenter. We are very excited that the opportunity has arisen to finance and construct this Center.These plans recognize that the Aerojet General Nucleonics Model 201 Modified (AGN 201M) Reactor iscurrently located in the Zachry Engineering Center. As such, the University has retained ReNuke Services, Inc.of Oak Ridge, Tennessee to perform a feasibility study to outline the options available going forward. We aredesignating ReNuke Services as the owner's engineer for this project.I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
