RESPONSE TO "TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY AEROJET GENERAL NUCLEONICS MODEL 201 MODIFIED REACTOR CONFIRMATORY ACTION LETTER NO. EA-2013-154."
In response to the letter dated June 13, 2014, an extension to respond is requested. The extension is requested to facilitate a complete human factors evaluation of the reactor control console design. The human factors evaluation will be performed in conjunction with the Human Factors & Cognitive Systems Laboratory and Industrial and Systems Engineering 630, Human Operator in Complex Systems, offered during the fall 2014 semester. This extension would allow the students and faculty participating in the study adequate time to meet course requirements while assisting the facility with the human factors evaluation. Please extend the response deadline to December 18, 2014 to coincide with the end of the fall semester.
