License Management Change for the Referenced Reactors
- 1. Nuclear Science Center Reactor License: R-83 Docket No.: 50-128
- 2. Texas A&M AGN License: R-23 Docket No.: 50-059 In accordance with the license conditions and NRC regulations for the referenced research reactors, and as the Level 2 Licensee for the NSCR (R-83, Docket 50-128) and delegated Level 2 Licensee for the Texas A&M AGN (R-23, Docket 50-059), I am informing you of the following changes to the respective reactor license organizations effective 1 April 2024:
- 1. Dr. Joe Elabd has left the position of Interim Director, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and is therefore no longer the Level 1 Licensee for R-83 or delegated Level 1 Licensee for R-23.
- 2. Dr. Robert Bishop has been named the new Director, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and has assumed the roles of Level 1 Licensee for R-83 and delegated Level 1 Licensee for R-23.
Ms. Lisa Akin, formerly the Chief Operating OfficerTEES, has left that role for a different position within the Texas A&M University System, and therefore is no longer carrying out the delegated responsibilities for the Level 1 of both reactors. Dr. Costas Georghiades is currently acting in that role but has not officially been named to it.
