In accordance with 10 CFR 71.101(f), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) requestsrenewal of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages forVermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY). The current Approval Number is 0907, Revision2, which expires on May 31, 2015 and was provided in Reference (1).To support the transition of VY to a decommissioning facility, VY has established a site specificEntergy Vermont Yankee Quality Assurance Program Manual (VY-QAPM) using the EntergyQAPM as the basis. The VY-QAPM, Revision 0, was submitted in Reference (2). Reference(2) also notified the NRC of the intention to apply the VY-QAPM to those activities specified inReference (1).The QA Program for Radioactive Material Packages is included in the VY-QAPM as stated inSection A.1 .c of Enclosure (1) to Reference (2). The current revision of the VY-QAPM isRevision 3, with an effective date of January 19, 2015.
