Work is continuing in order to reserve the Sundesert site and water. supply for future use in meeting the electric energy needs.of southern California. As the Board has been in-formed by Staff counsel, .the Staff's Interim Safety Evalua-tion Report and the Final Site Environmental Statement were published in October.
In' compliance with that direction, this is to advise you that the' status remains essentially as stated in my. letter of May 18.
