This FAQ provides interpretive guidance to clarify the term "P ower Block" where used in NFPA 805, Chapter 3. NFPA 805, Section 1.6.46 defines Power Block as "Structures that have equipment required for nuclear plant operations.Although not endorsed by Regulatory Guide 1.205, NFPA 805, Section A.1.6.46 further describes the term Power Block as, "Containment, auxili ary building, servic e building, control building, fuel building, r ad waste, water treatment, tu rbine building and intake structure are examples of power block structures."
This FAQ provides interpretive guidance to clarify the term Power Block where used in NFPA 805, Chapter 3.
