On April 16, 2009, the licensee identified that it had not been properly performing several of the calibrations related to the main steam pressure instruments. The licensee subsequently revised its procedures and began the calibrations. However, because of the time needed to revise the procedures and complete the calibrations, the licensee was required by its Technical Specifications to shut down the reactor.
