WCAP-13632-P-A, Revision 2, "Elimination of Pressure Sensor Response Time Testing Requirements," identifies a bounding generic rack response time allocation applicable to the protection functions in accordance with the protection function hardware. Accordingly, the staff is requesting information about the bounding allocation time for the PFRT function for Farley, Units 1 and 2. | |||

(SNC or the licensee), submitted a license amendment request regarding FNP to add Surveillance Requirement 3.3.1.14 to Technical Specification Table 3.3.1-1, "Reactor Trip System Instrumentation," Function 3, "Power Range Neutron Flux High Positive Rate."
By letter dated February 3, 2012, SNC responded to a request for additional information (RAI).
With respect to the response to RAI No.2, please provide the allocation time for processing the Power Range Neutron Flux High Positive Rate Trip (PFRT) function. WCAP-13632-P-A, Revision 2, "Elimination of Pressure Sensor Response Time Testing Requirements," identifies a bounding generic rack response time allocation applicable to the protection functions in accordance with the protection function hardware. Accordingly, the staff is requesting information about the bounding allocation time for the PFRT function for Farley, Units 1 and 2.
