TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY - NRC SECURITY-RELATED INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-059/2015-202

Dear Dr. Hassan:

On March 24-25, 2015, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a security inspection at your Texas A&M University AGN-201M Research Reactor facility. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations, as well as compliance with the conditions of your license. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance or non-compliances with NRC requirements were identified. No response to this letter is required.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 2.390 of the NRCs, "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's document system (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). However, because of the security-related items contained in the enclosure, and in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d), a copy of the enclosure will not be available for public inspection.

NOTE: Document transmitted herewith contains security related information. When separated from the enclosure, this letter is decontrolled. Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, please contact Mr. Mike Morlang at 301-415-4092 or by electronic mail at Gary.Morlang@nrc.gov.
