NRC STAFF TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS INSPECTION FINDINGS AT FARLEY The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with officials of the Farley nuclear power plant in Dothan, Ala., on Thursday, July 10, to discuss the results of a Supplemental Inspection conducted at the plant June 2 - 13 to review corrective actions taken regarding regulatory concerns related to component operating problems at the plant. 
 
The meeting will be held at 3 p.m. (CDT) at the Dothan Chamber of Commerce, 182 Jamestown Blvd., in Dothan. The meeting, between officials of the NRC and the Farley nuclear power plant, will be open to observation by members of the public. NRC officials will be available at the close of the business portion, but before the meeting ends, to answer questions from interested observers.
 
An NRC inspection report will be available within 30 days of the date of the meeting and will be available  on the web at www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
