A VT-2 is a visual examination for leakage during a pressure test. aka the Hydrostatic Test.

IWA-2212 VT-2 Examination

(a) VT-2 examination is conducted to detect evidence of leakage from pressure retaining components, as required 6.1 during the conduct of system pressure test.

(b) VT-2 examination shall be conducted in accordance with IWA-5000.
