A degraded fire barrier was identified dur … A degraded fire barrier was identified during a walkdown on May 15th, 2014 at 1620 (CDT). The barrier separates Appendix R safe shutdown divisional equipment.</br>A fire watch has been established as a compensatory measure. The health and safety of the public was not jeopardized as a result of this condition as there have been no fires or initiating events.</br>The discovery of this degraded fire barrier is being reported as an unanalyzed condition as defined by 50.72(b)(3)(ii)(B).</br>The licensee has notified the NRC Senior Resident Inspector.otified the NRC Senior Resident Inspector.  +
