PROCEEDINGS CHAIRMAN SVINICKI: I call the affirmation session to order. Madam Secretary, I understand we have two items for affirmation this morning. Would you please lead us through.

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: Yes, the first item is on SECY-17-0062: Crow Butte Resources, Inc. (In Situ Leach Uranium Recovery Facility). The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to the Consolidated Intervenors petition for review of Licensing Board Panel 16-13, the Boards second partial initial decision. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order denying the petition for review. Commissioner Burns did not participate in this matter.

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: Would the other Commissioners please affirm your votes?

CHAIRMAN SVINICKI: Aye.

COMMISSIONER BARAN: Aye.

COMMISSIONER CAPUTO: Aye.

COMMISSIONER WRIGHT: Aye.

The second item is on SECY-18-0089: Motion to Quash Office of Investigations Subpoena filed by Reed College. The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to Reed Colleges motion to quash a subpoena issued by the NRCs Office of Investigations to Reed College. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order (unpublished to due privacy concerns) granting Reed Colleges motion to quash the subpoena.

COMMISSIONER BURNS: Yes. I just want to clarify my reason for not participating in the Crow Butte Order, is due to a long recusal from participation in that proceeding.
