In accordance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section VI, Carolina Power and Light Company, also known as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., is transmitting revisions to the H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant (HBRSEP), Unit No. 2, Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) Data Point Library.

The changes result from the replacement of the plant vent wide range airborne radioactivity monitoring system. The specific changes are:

• Data point RMROOS1A (vent particulate) is deleted.

• Data point RMROO5OA (vent iodine) is deleted.

• Data point RMR0049A (vent noble gas lo), data point RMR0045A (vent noble gas midX and data point RMR0046A (vent noble gas hi) have been revised to increase the maximum range to 0. IE+08 cpm, and the Alarm/Trip Setpoints have been changed to reflect that the alarm setpoint is variable based on the latest calculation and monitor background.

The revised Data Point Reference File Sheets are attached.
