Voss joined the NRC in Region III as a reactor engineer in 2007.

Since joining the agency, she has completed a rigorous inspector qualification program and has participated in engineering inspections throughout the Midwest region. Most recently, Voss was acting resident inspector at the Perry and Davis-Besse nuclear power plants in Ohio.

Voss graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelors of science degree in nuclear engineering and radiological sciences.

Patricia Voss is an excellent inspector with a firm commitment to safety. She will help the NRC fulfill its mission of protecting people and the environment by helping ensure the Monticello plant operates at the high standards set by the NRC, said Region III Administrator Mark Satorius.

Each U.S. commercial nuclear plant site has at least two NRC resident inspectors who monitor the day-to-day activities at the plant. Voss joins Senior Resident Inspector Scott Thomas at the Monticello plant.

The Monticello resident inspectors can be reached at (763) 295-2066.
