Dear Mr. Jones:

By letter dated February 18, 1981, you provided information regarding implementation of guidance from NUREG-0619 at Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. I and 2.

NUREG-0619, issued by letter dited November 13, 1980, contained the NRC staff's resolution of Unresolved Safety Issue A-10.

Although your cosmiitments contained in the February 18, 1981 letter indicated that you would adhere to the schedules presented in NUREG-0619, you did not provide enough information for us to determine the adequacy of the proposed modifications. We will require inforn.Ttion including, but not limited to, the following:

(1) Reroute of RWCU to each feedwater line; (2) Modification if low flow controller; (3)

Intenqd modifications to control rod drive hydratlic system, incluaing testing, changes to procedures, etc.; and (A

Commitment to follow the inspection schedule of Table 2 of MUREG-0619.

You are requested to provide this infomation, addressing each of the implementa-tion items of NUREG-0619, within 90 days.
