Letter from W. O. Long to J. M. Pilant dated May 23,1986, " Proposed Change 25 to Technical Specifications" On February 10, 1986, the Nebraska Public Power District submitted Proposed Change No. 25 to the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) Technical Specifications. From their review of the proposed amendment , the staff had concerns regarding the control over high radiation areas which could subject personnel to a dose rate in excess of 1,000 mrem /hr.
The attached revised page 226a addresses this staff concern, utilizing recently issued Technical Specifications from Hope Creek provided in Reference 1 as guidance.
