Proposed Change Nc.12 to Technical Specifications -
Revised Licensee Event Report System Cooper Nuclear Station NRC Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46 NRC Generic Letter No. 83-43 advised Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) that modification of the facility's Technical Specifications may be needed to ensure compliance with Section 50.73 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
NPPD requests that the Technical Specifications for Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) be revised to obtain compliance with Section 50.73. An evaluation of the proposed change with respect to the requirements of 10CFR50.92 and the applicable revised Technical Specification pages are contained in the attachment.
By copy of this letter and attachment the appropriate State of Nebraska Official is being notified in accordance with 10 'R50. 91(b) .
This change has been reviewed by the necessary Snfety Review Committees. As indicated in Generic Letter No. 83-43, this change is made at the request of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and NPPD is not required to remit a license fee.
