Dear Sir or Madam:

The purpose of this letter is to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of Nebraska Public Power District's request to withdraw 10 CFR 50.55a Request No. RR5-02 submitted by the reference letter. This request was discussed between Jim Shaw, Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) Licensing Manager, and Thomas Wengert, NRC Project Manager for CNS. The piping that was the subject of this relief request was repaired during the CNS fall 2016 refueling outage.
