Recommendation 9.3, Emergencv Preparedness - Staffing Ladies and Gentlemen:

On March 12, 2012, the NRC staff issued a letter entitled "Request for Information Pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendations 2.1, 2.3, and 9.3 of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident." contains the requested information, associated with Recommendation 9.3, for Emergency Preparedness Staffing. This submittal is made with regard to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 3(VEGP 3), license number NPF-91, pursuant to this information request. contains the VEGP 3 Phase 2 Staffing Analysis performed in accordance with NEI 12-01, "Guideline for Assessing Beyond Design Basis Accident Response Staffing and Communications Capabilities," which was endorsed by the NRC on May 15, 2012(Adams Accession No. ML12131A043). Enclosure 1 satisfies the Phase 2 Staffing Assessment for response functions related to NTTF Recommendation 4.2.

This letter contains no regulatory commitments. This letter has been reviewed and determined not to contain security-related information.
