NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ACCEPTANCE REVIEW OBSERVATIONS TO SUPPORT THE GLOBAL LASER ENRICHMENT, LLC PADUCAH LASER ENRICHMENT FACILITY LICENSE APPLICATION (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2024-NEW-0004)

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff developed several observations during the acceptance review of the Global Laser Enrichment, LLC (GLE) license application. The review was completed on August 4, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML25202A201). These observations are being provided for GLEs awareness, and a response is considered voluntary. Issues that remain unresolved will be considered during the NRC staffs detailed technical review and may become requests for additional information.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
