Before we can start on this license amendment request we need additional information that includes the qualifications of David Horn to be the RSO and the qualifications required by Oregon State David Horn needs to meet in order to be qualified for the position of RSO at Oregon State University.
Please provide this information and the NRC can initiate the action of amending the Oregon State special nuclear material license.

I am writing to notify you of a change in the Radiation Safety Officer for Oregon State Universitys special nuclear materials license SNM-2013. Effective immediately the RSO will be changed from Daniel Harlan to David Horn. David has served as OSUs Assistant Radiation Safety Officer for 12 years, and completed a masters in Health Physics at OSU in 2013. David has been designated as the RSO for OSUs Oregon broad scope license ORE-90005. Dan retired from OSU January 31, 2025, and is remaining in a part-time position through June 2025 to assist David.
