The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your submittal dated December 17, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession Number ML24352A488) and supplement dated February 7, 2025 (ML25040A002) pertaining to Louisiana Energy Services (LES), doing business as Urenco USA (UUSA), request for approval of the UUSA Standard Practices Procedure Plan (SPPP) for the Protection of Classified Matter (LAR 24-04).
We have completed our acceptance review of the UUSA SPPP submittal. We have identified no administrative omissions or deficiencies that would prevent us from proceeding with a detailed review. Your submittal has been assigned Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) L-2025-SPR-0000. Please reference this EPID number and Docket Number 07003103 in any future correspondence associated with this request.
Please note that the NRC staffs technical review of your submittal may identify issues that require additional information. Based on our preliminary evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we anticipate completing our formal review by June 27, 2025. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule. In addition, the NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 100 staff hours which corresponds to about $31,700.00 ($317.00/hr).
