By letter dated December 12, 2024, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24348A143), Holtec International submitted an additional scope change (proposed change #5) for the HI-STORM FW Amendment 10. The requested change is to revise the FSAR methodology for HI-TRAC VW missile penetration to allow site-specific analysis to take credit for the HI-TRAC VW water jacket shell.
This email is an acknowledgement of your submittal. Based on preliminary observation, your submittal does not include supporting analysis for this scope change. Once we receive the remaining RSI response, which you plan to submit at the end of February, and if we determine that the application is acceptable for detailed technical review, we will request a supporting analysis for this scope change as part of the detailed technical review.
