Response to NuScale Topical Report Audit Question Question Number: A-NonLOCA.LTR-68 Receipt Date: 06/28/2024 Question:

Discussion of the Mode 5 boron dilution transient in LTR Section 7.2.16.1 does not provide a method for evaluating this event that does not depend on operator response, as it states that surveillance of the boron concentration is performed at appropriate intervals to prevent significant inadvertent dilution to the reactor pool. NuScale has provided some markup to address this issue in the context of the Chapter 15 review. Provide LTR markup.

Response

The requested markup was already provided in the response to audit question A-NonLOCA.LTR-43.

No changes to the SDAA are necessary.
