Clarification of the August 13, 2024, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Approval of Redacted Versions Related to the Atomic Safety Licensing Board (ASLB) Hearing for the Environmental Review of the Oconee Subsequent License Renewal (ASLBP No. 24-985-03-SLR-BD01)
On August 13, 2024, (ML24324A040) FERC approved the NRC's proposed Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) redactions related to the ASLB Hearing for the environmental review of the Oconee subsequent license renewal (ASLBP No. 24-985-03-SLR-BD01).
As provided in the August 13, 2024, approval, the FERC approval referenced a single file titled Additional Proposed Redactions 8.6.24.pdf. For clarification, this file contained the following 12 distinct documents.

1 For hearing-related documents, SECY requested that the original hearing files retain their existing ADAMS Accession numbers (now designated as non-public, CEII), while assigning new ADAMS Accession numbers to the redacted versions. This approach differs from the process for non-hearing files, where the redacted versions replaced the original ADAMS Accession numbers. The decision for non-hearing files was made to ensure that members of the public could access the public version of a referenced document when searching for it in historical records, rather than encountering a notice indicating that the document is unavailable.
