Purpose:

The purpose of this initial pre-submittal meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a potential license amendment request for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, regarding the note associated with the limiting condition for operation in Technical Specification 3.7.10, "Control Room Emergency Ventilation System (CREVS)," and the selective implementation of an alternate source term for a loss-of-coolant accident.
