Brodlowicz joined the NRC in 2023 as a project engineer through the resident inspector development program in the Region IV office in Arlington, Texas. Before joining the NRC, he was a maintenance supervisor at the Salem nuclear power plant in Salem, New Jersey, and previously served in the Navy. Brodlowicz holds a bachelors degree in nuclear engineering from Excelsior University.
Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two resident inspectors. Brodlowicz joins acting senior resident inspector Chris Kline at the Columbia Generating Station. They serve as the agencys eyes and ears at the facility, conduct regular inspections, monitor plant operations and significant work projects, and interact with plant workers and the public.
