- ARITA is a complex methodology for analyzing a wide array of SRP Chapter 15 events (non-LOCA, no rod ejection).
- Multiple challenges were encountered during the review effort.
- Review schedule required extension on multiple occasions.
- NRC is initiating a lessons learned assessment of the ARITA review.
- Framatome also requested to provide input for the lessons-learned assessment.
