OF THE AUGUST 23, 2023, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2022 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF QUAD CITIES NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On August 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CDT), an information meeting (open house) with question and answer session was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2022 end-of-cycle plant performance assessment of Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC. Representatives from Constellation Nuclear were also in attendance.
The NRC discussed their assessment of Quad Cities performance as documented in the March 1, 2023, end-of-cycle assessment letter (ADAMS Accession No. ML23054A143). During the question-and-answer session of the open house, representatives from the NRC discussed various topics of public interest.
