The purpose of this letter is to provide American Centrifuge Operating, LLC's (ACO) response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) request for additional information (RAI) as .

Based upon the security markings of SP-3605-0042, Security Plan for the Physical Protection of Special Nuclear Material at the American Centrifuge Plant, the proposed changes for this security plan are being transmitted under separate cover, ACO 22-0072.

On August 29, 2022 (Reference 1) the NRC issued aRAI on ACO's amendment request submittals dated April 7, 2022, and June 14, 2022 (References 2 and 3). On September 6, 2022, a conference call was held with NRC staff to obtain a clarification related to the RAI. contains Security-Related Information and ACO requests this enclosure be withheld from public disclosure per 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.390(d)(l ).
