The purpose of this letter is to provide American Centrifuge Operating, LLC's (ACO) response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) request for additional information (RAI) as.
Based upon the security markings of SP-3605-0042, Security Plan for the Physical Protection of Special Nuclear Material at the American Centrifuge Plant, the proposed changes for this security plan are being transmitted under separate cover, ACO 22-0072.
On August 29, 2022 (Reference 1) the NRC issued aRAI on ACO's amendment request submittals dated April 7, 2022, and June 14, 2022 (References 2 and 3). On September 6, 2022, a conference call was held with NRC staff to obtain a clarification related to the RAI. contains Security-Related Information and ACO requests this enclosure be withheld from public disclosure per 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.390( d)(l ).
