o Radiological Health Program Background for request:
Sensor Concepts & Application, Inc. (SCA) has maintained this license since 2011. We would like to renew our license as we are bidding multiple contract efforts and have submitted 2 proposals to the DOD Defense Threat Reduction Agency and one to the US Am1y and currently supports Testing and Demonstrations for OHS Customs and Border Protection. These activities include Concept Demonstrations, Test and Evaluation, Characterization Evaluations and operator training activities.
Vendors are developing technology to demonstrate techniques to detect special nuclear materials and clear alarms that represent a non-threat.
SCA currently possesses a State of Maryland Radioactive Material License (MD-05-193-01) but is requesting materials and quantities beyond the level of this license.
