Dear Mr. Harlan:
By letter dated July 31, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML21235A325), Oregon State University submitted a request to renew its Materials License SNM-2013 for an additional 10 years.
In conducting a detailed review of the license amendment request, we have identified technical areas where additional information is needed in order to make a determination of the adequacy of your request. The specific areas where additional information is needed are stated in the enclosure to this letter.
Please submit your response to this request for additional information (RAI) within 30 days of the date of this letter. If a clarification call on the RAIs is needed, please request a clarification call before November 8, 2021.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS.
