In Reference 2, Louisiana Energy Services, LLC, dba URENCO USA (UUSA) submitted the 2022 through 2024 decommissioning cost estimate for NRG approval.

UUSA has elected to include the financial assurance for closure of UUSA's New Mexico Environment Department Discharge Permit within the financial assurance required by Reference 1 license condition 16d. The following changes have been made.

Table 4 has been revised to include the following Draining, removal and disposal of the liners installed in the UBC basin Backfill and regrading of the UBC basin and the Stormwater basin Sampling of the monitoring wells for 2 years following closure Capping of the monitoring wells following monitoring Additionally, Table 12 for the years 2022 through 2024 have been revised to indicate the increase in funding for these years.

Following NRG approval of the 2022-2024 estimates, UUSA will provide the executed financial assurance instruments for the respective years, as required by Reference 1 Condition 16d, on the following dates; December 15, 2021 for the 2022 estimate December 15, 2022 for the 2023 estimate December 15, 2023 for the 2024 estimate This letter and Enclosure 1 contain proprietary information in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(a)(4). UUSA requests that they be withheld from public disclosure.
